Altura offers a range of high-end domestic espresso machines sourced from reputable espresso machine manufacturers such as Rancilio and Profitec. Choose from the popular Silvia M or E, Rancilio Silvia Pro X or the Profitec machine range. These machines range from single boiler to insulated dual‑boilers and dual‑PIDs for temperature control. All machines sold are backed up by our in-house Sales and Support team. Available online or showcased in our flagship café in Albany.

Dependant on office setup and size, we offer a range of automatic push button machines for ease of use, supplied with our freshly roasted coffee beans or traditional compact commercial barista operated machinery. Our Sales team will assist you to make the best decision to suit your business.

Choose Cafetto Tevo tablets for semi-automatic/manual espresso machines (Rancilio, Profitec, etc). Use one tablet only in a blind filter then run a back-flush cycle followed by a rinse. Follow instructions per the product only. Altura stocks a full range of Cafetto cleaning products and brushes.

Yes – the Rancilio Silvia Pro X offers dual boilers, PID control and a shot timer from a starting price just over NZ $3,300.

All Profitec machines are manufactured by hand in Germany.

Each Rancilio machine ships with filter buckets, a 58 mm tamper, rubber backwash disc and an illustrated manual. Altura sells a wide range of barista accessories and also offers individual barista training sessions.
Yes – the Gene Café home roaster is small, easy to use and listed at roughly NZ $892 for freshly roasted coffee in your own home. Not for commercial green bean roasting.
Choose one of Altura’s range of single‑origin coffee. We offer a new specialty coffee at the start of every month that is best suited for drip-filter and soft brewing. The beans are lighter roasted than our normal blends, this brings out the taste characteristics of each highlighted origin.
Expect about NZ $1.5 k for a Silvia V6 single‑boiler setup or NZ $3.7 k+ for a Silvia Pro X dual‑boiler unit, plus NZ $500–$1200 for an espresso specific coffee grinder.
