Lovely, but not Christmassy
‘Tis (nearly) the season, so I thought I’d give the Java Jingle a go to get into the mood.
To be fair, it is a very nice coffee with plenty of flavour and good depth. But that is as far as it goes. What it is missing is anything remotely related to Christmas. From the description I was hoping for a coffee infused with those wonderful Christmas smells and tastes; cinnamon, nutmeg, dried fruit and maybe a hint of brandy. What I got was just coffee, albeit a very nice one.
If you are looking for a really Christmassy coffee then you may be better off using your favourite (Altura) beans and a combination of the above ingredients. Unfortunately this doesn’t quite hit the spot.
