Guatemala produces some of the world's finest SHB (strictly hard bean) coffees. These quality arabica beans are grown on the volcanic mountain slopes of Sierra Madre.  In winter, fires are lit near the plantations to hold back the severest frosts.  These fires impart a mild smoky flavour in the process, which adds to our medium roast's unique and delicious flavour.
