Last Saturday we were rushed off our feet at the Auckland Coffee Festival. 15,000 coffee lovers poured through the gates to taste some of the best coffee that New Zealand has to offer.
The 45-minute queues that formed to buy our barista-made, award-winning Altitude blend were also amazing – the queue snaked out of our stand and didn’t seem to get smaller all day! It was great to see that you love it as much as we do.
We also shared the love by showcasing four of our fantastic single origin coffees from Colombia, Brazil, Costa Rica and Yemen and spent all three sessions talking to the steady stream of Altura fans. Many of our fans didn’t realise that we source our own coffee from individual farms and co-ops to make sure that we know exactly how and where our coffee beans are grown. We enjoyed sharing our fanatical search for perfection with the rest of the coffeeholics out there. Read more about our quest to source the best beans – no matter where in the world they are grown.

So, after 11 hours of madness, we picked ourselves up and packed up our stand (luckily there was no coffee left to pack up because we’d sold out). Looking forward to next year Auckland Coffee Festival – thanks for the ride!
